Description Rémi Denis-Courmont 2018-06-18 18:28:40 UTC
Upon entering fullscreen, KWin sends an xdg_toplevel.configure event with the fullscreen resolution as width and height parameters.

However, when leaving fullscreen, it does NOT send an event with width and height as zero. Thus, the client application does not know that it can pick a window size freely again.

This breaks VLC.git upon leaving fullscreen. For comparison, Weston 4.0.0 does send a configure event with size 0x0.
