works as expected with youttube I can confirm the described behavior on Twitch, however I don't see a way to fix this. When I pause() or play() the player from developer console, the website gets confused somehow. It also doesn't implement Media Sessions API which could mitigate this. *** Bug 398187 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Any update on this? When in developer console I do document.querySelector("video").pause() and then .play() I get a promise that is never fulfilled and playback never resumes. Not sure what I can do on our side.
For me twitch now works, I think they updated their player. |
