can confirm that this happens to me too, most of the thumbnails load right away, some take some more time to load, others don't seem to load at all ---- KDialog version: 18.04.2-1 KDE Plasma Version: 5.13.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.47.0 Qt Version: 5.11.0 OS: Manjaro Linux If you google then you can see this bug affects a lot of people and is still present in kde plasma 5.13.2 https://forum.manjaro.org/t/kdialog-not-showing-previews-for-file-sizes-higher-than-3mb/35699 Please fix it *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 238690 *** |
Created attachment 113359 [details] Example of the bug when choosing a wallpaper For me KDialog does not show all image previews, although Dolphin does. I've attached a photo proof to this post. It happens regardless of icon size. What it may be related to is image size; the affected images whose previews are not displayed are 4 MiB, 7.3 MiB and 7.9 MiB large. ____ KDialog version: 18.04.2-1 KDE Frameworks version: 5.47.0 Qt Version: 5.11.0 OS: Manjaro Linux
