After pressing F8_Delete (and Return to confirm it), the searchbar is still opened (with a content that now is needless).
I completely agree the bar shouldn't be green when file is deleted and nothing is found. The current item should at least move to the next match or become red. Currently the bug is being discussed at https://phabricator.kde.org/D13499 in terms of whether the bar should remain open or not. As Toni confirmed, in kde4 versions it becomes hidden immediately.
