Skrooge Version and platform details

Ubuntu 1.3.3
When doing operation/balance/pointing under Elementary Loki, checkbox is not showing shading or partial check (see screenshot) eg user checks box prior to completed balancing, and checkbox does not change. It changes when balanced.
This makes the operation really difficult as user ends up with unbalanced which can be only fixed by balancing without checks then checking all.

Hi Alistair,

Skrooge 1.9.3 is a VERY VERY old version, no more supported and based on KDE4.
The last version is 2.13.0 based on KF5.
Could you try to install the last version from my ppa?
https://skrooge.org/download

You should do:
sudo apt remove skrooge*
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:s-mankowski/ppa-kf5
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install skrooge-kf5

Greetings Stephane; we will not mention the rugby ;-)

Yes thanks I did follow instructions for ubuntu ppa which was originally:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:s-mankowski/ppa
which gave the earlier version, which is default for ubuntu it seems.
However after your kind instructions:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:s-mankowski/ppa-kf5
The new version still will not check the boxes exactly as described earlier. I suspect its a graphics problem specific to the os but cant find any options under qt which allows me to fix the issue.

The issue is may be due to the theme used.
Did you try with another theme?
You can change it by launching "systemsettings5".

Yes, thanks that sorted it I have to use 'Ambiant Mate' or similar to get the checkboxes. Its sad, as Elementary theme is the nicest but anyway, once again, its not Skrooge error. Regards, Alistair.
