File from .local/share/kscreen

After reboot, my primary screen becomes secondary and vice versa.

If I look into system settings, what is shown there is what I saved before, i.e. it shows the setting I want to have, but not the setting that is actually in effect.

If I then change the primary to the other monitor, i.e. the monitor that actually is the primary right now, and apply, (correctly) nothing happens.

If I then change back the primary to the monitor I want to use as primary and apply, everything looks like it should look from the beginning.

.local/share/kscreen/* looks like it should look to me, I'll also attach it.

This is a desktop computer, no monitors are ever added or removed.

This is reproducible with every reboot.

This was fixed for a while, but has reappeared with 5.17

I updated my Arch installation today, and after the subsequent reboot, it worked again.

Seems to be fixed.

This regularly happens again.

Happens on two out of three systems to me.
1) Arch Linux with Frameworks 5.71.0 and Plasma 5.19.2 - X11, nvidia binary, 2 monitor setup - not affected
2) Arch Linux with Frameworks 5.71.0 and Plasma 5.19.2 - X11, intel iGPU, 3 monitor setup - sometimes resets the arrangement
3) Void Linux with Frameworks 5.71.0 and Plasma 5.19.2 - X11, nouveau nvidia, 2 monitor setup - on every boot I need to rearrange the screens as it is reset

Does this still happen in Plasma 5.25? We did a lot of multimonitor robustness work in that release. Could you test? Thanks!

It works now, thanks!

Actually, it's been working for a few months now. I just updated to 5.25.2 and it still works. :-)
