Error Message

Current MLT version is 6.8.0-2
SOX is installed

The application works perfectly, smooth and no errors while editing a video, problem only occurs when trying to render a video, no format will work and the eror message is basic and not helpful. 

I have uninstalled everything and tried to reinstall everything (kdenlive related that is) to no avail! 

I tried the Appimage and it will render video with no problem, but it is not as smooth as Arch package.

I have not edited a video in weeks, so I am not sure when this issue came about, if it was during an upgrade etc.

The OS is a rather fresh install, little over a month since it was installed and it runs great.

It seems you have some “left over" from a previous Kdenlive. Rename/delete kdenliverc see here: https://community.kde.org/Kdenlive/Configuration.

It seems you had a "incompatible" FFMPEG version on your system in conjunction with what Kdenlive needs.
