I think it may be related to this one. Could you check if the fix solves the issue? https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=392971. *** Bug 394370 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 394595 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 394642 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Do you always get this crash? If so which are the steps? Would it be possible to get a backtrace with symbols? https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/StackTraces If you can provide the information requested in comment #5, please add it. Adding infos: Usually i uses synaptic. Then to answer, i've just used plasma-discover again and it seemed working well, navigating on the proposed items ! All icons had responding as expected except when some screenshots were not available while it was previously (before surfing on links) available ! Not so important but when i wanted to close plasma-discover by clicking on the the close-cross it hanged and the window began to be transparent (print the firefox window) with Firefox ! And in the following seconds, the bug-crash-report appeared two times, first with plasma-discover and then with korgac ! I took two screenshots (because it was automatic, can't select text as you know, just collapse). In the plasma-bug-report, the last line refer to Firefox (dconf warning) and snapd (unable to open..., permissions denied...). I've just retry: opened and closed (without installing anything) twice plasma-discover and it worked normally . I don't know if it can help but concerning my previous message, i installed two packages and even could installed some in synaptic while discover was open ! It seemed that discover didn't lock the install process ! Surprising, no ? Yes ? Muon blocks the install process usually, but sometimes it could be possible to install some packets with synaptic while muon-update is on. I don't if this kind of use is reasonable. Thanks for the updates; changing status. The original issue is solved, closing. Lewkow, would it be possible for you to report your issue and get a backtrace for the frozen discover? https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace |
