You are running a very old version of Dolphin and the crash you are experiencing might easily be fixed in a newer version. Please upgrade Dolphin (to e.g. 17.12.3 or 18.04) and test this again. Thanks! Julian Schraner, the problem is I am on LTS brunch of ubuntu and waiting for 18.04 will be released. I know I can update via dev brunch, but afraid problems with compatibility with my hardware and apps which I'm using to work. Thanks for the quick response! Ubuntu 18.04 LTS has already been released (https://blog.ubuntu.com/2018/04/27/breeze-through-ubuntu-desktop-18-04-lts-bionic-beaver), so you should be able to upgrade without switching to a developer branch :) (In reply to Julian Schraner from comment #3) > Thanks for the quick response! My system tuned to receive only lts updates, so it doesn't see new releases. And this is logical behavior, because of: "Upgrades from 16.04 LTS will not be enabled until a few days after 18.04.1's release expected in late July." https://wiki.ubuntu.com/BionicBeaver/ReleaseNotes Ah sorry, I must have misunderstood you then. Would it be okay for you if I tag this NEEDSINFO LATER? You can then test this behavior again after you have upgraded to Ubuntu 18.04 and we will of course further triage this issue if it still exists with newer versions of Dolphin. Thanks again for reporting this crash & have a nice day :) That's ok for me. Thank you for replying to my issue. Doesn't expected someone notice this report. Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days. Please provide the requested information as soon as possible and set the bug status as REPORTED. Due to regular bug tracker maintenance, if the bug is still in NEEDSINFO status with no change in 30 days, the bug will be closed as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME due to lack of needed information.
