Hi,

It has been observed with the latest version of Kopete when multiple chat tabs are open and if I change the tab from one person to other person participant sidebar doesn't get updated accordingly.

KDE Frameworks 5.45.0
Qt 5.10.0 (built against 5.10.0)
The xcb windowing system

even input text box also doesn't update while changing the tab. textbox get update only when I reopen 2nd person's window once again.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
