Description Øystein Steffensen-Alværvik 2018-05-08 20:26:42 UTC
The auto-check for updates during Discover startup doesn’t report any updates (even when there are several). I must manually choose the ‘check for updates’ or run ‘pkcon refresh’ for Discover to recognise available updates.

Reproducible sometimes.

Steps to reproduce:
- Log in to a session.
- Launch Discover.
- Wait for the 'Checking for updates …' text in bottom left corner to change to 'No updates' (or the similar string in English)
- Choose 'Settings' and then 'Check for updates'.
- Bottom-left corner should now display the number of available updates (if there are any of course)

What works: After starting a new session and waiting 15-30 min, Discover *will* auto-prompt me to install updates through the tray icon.

Could you test again? This should be fixed as of 21st June, maybe you will have to wait for a next stable release as I don't think it was on the last 5.13.

Confirmed fixed in 5.13.2.
