Falkon not switching to foreground
Falkon switching to foreground |
*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 392805 *** Created attachment 112510 [details] Falkon switching to foreground I am using KDE Neon, thus using KWin, and thanks to the description in bug #392805 I learned that I need to tweak KWin to let Falkon steal the focus. System Settings -> Windows Management -> Windows Rules -> Settings for Falkon -> Appearance & Fixes -> Focus stealing prevention -> "Force" and then "None". The fact that after clicking on "Show Desktop" and then opening an URL and not having Falkon in foreground sounds like a different bug. > The fact that after clicking on "Show Desktop" and then opening an URL and not having Falkon in foreground sounds like a different bug.
That has nothing to do with Falkon, please report it against KWin.
I did open bug #394012, but it was closed as INVALID. |
Created attachment 112505 [details] Falkon not switching to foreground I have attached a screencast for the cases when Falkon opens a link but it doesn't switch to foreground. One case is opening a link from Konsole. Falkon would not be minimized. The other case would be by showing the desktop and opening a URL from there. The same applies with links from E-Mails.
