## Overview

A lot of us only use KDE connect when we are at home or connected to another trusted network. In these instances it would be very helpful if KDE connect only ran when connected to a number of user-specified networks. This would be beneficial both from a security standpoint and power management standpoint.

(I'm sure that KDE connect is perfectly secure, but hardening the existing measures even more never hurts).

## Implementation ideas

KDE connect could offer an additional configuration setting that allows the user to either manually enter an SSID/MAC, or choose from the currently available networks. Ideally this option would allow defining multiple networks, but should that be too difficult then one network would also suffice for most use cases.

This feature is already implemented.  (It is currently broken on Android 10, see bug #425381, but it works on Android versions 9 and lower.)
