Description Glut 2018-04-14 18:49:54 UTC
## Overview

Nautilus, Thunar, and other file managers allow assigning keyboard shortcuts to user-generated actions / scripts. I think it would make sense for Dolphin to implement a similar feature set. The ability to assign key bindings to service menus would greatly enhance the extensibility and keyboard-driven usability of Dolphin.

## Implementation ideas

Ideally a user would be able to assign a custom key binding through Dolphin's existing key assignment menu. But a simpler implementation could also just rely on a keyboard shortcut key-value pair in the service menu .desktop file that users could manually edit.
