Which ports did you open? KDE Connect uses additional ports for transferring files, see https://community.kde.org/KDEConnect#I_have_two_devices_running_KDE_Connect_on_the_same_network.2C_but_they_can.27t_see_each_other I don't know what fragmented packages are, but we use normal SSL over TCP. Or are you talking about UDP? You are talking about an option to gain information, could you elaborate on that, because it's currently unclear to me.
