Sentry Crash Report:

Description Matthias Fauconneau 2018-04-13 09:45:14 UTC
The service 'Elisa Local Files Indexer' does not provide an interface 'KCModule' with keyword 'kcm_elisa_local_file'

The module didn't seem to be found at all until I export
QT_PLUGIN_PATH=$QT_PLUGIN_PATH:/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/plugins/kcms

Even then I get :

Error loading plugin: "The shared library was not found."
This module has no valid entry symbol at all. The reason could be that it's still using K_EXPORT_COMPONENT_FACTORY with a custom X-KDE-FactoryName which is not supported anymore

(on Kubuntu 18.04 / KDE 5.44)

Thanks for your report.

Sorry for the delay in handling it.

Could you please test with a flatpak build to see if you can still reproduce ?

I have tested with the flatpak package from KDE and the configuration module is showing without problems. This is why I need your help.

Please could you test again or if you are unable to reproduce close this bug ?
Thanks in advance

That sounds like a packaging bug in Ubuntu to me. This has worked fine for me since forever.
