Cut off image

Linux Mint 18.3
Kdenlive 17.12.0 AppImage

How to replicate:
1. Drag an image to the timeline
2. Toggle "Preview" mode instead of High Quality
3. Apply Position & Zoom effect
3. Attempt to move the image from the center of the screen to the far left or far right.

The image will get cut off the more you move it.
Also, when you try to resize the image to make it smaller, the cursor and image will not be on top of each other. The cursor can move to the left side of the screen, but the image will remain in the center.

Please try with the actual Kdenlive AppImage version 18.08.2
Run the Appimage from the terminal (press CTRL + ALT + T). Move to the AppImage folder and run the .AppImage: ./Kdenlive*.AppImage

Try with the effect "transform"

Now using 18.08.2 and I still have this problem. I tried using Transform and it still does not work properly. The problem is almost identical except, the image immediately shifts to the right of the cursor once I apply the effect.

I ran the appimage from the terminal and I just got this error message. I don't know if it is related to my problem:

trying to load "/tmp/.mount_Shvt5m/usr/lib/qt5/plugins/kf5/kio/file.so" from "/tmp/.mount_Shvt5m/usr/lib/qt5/plugins/kf5/kio/file.so"

Restart your system (switch off, switch on). Then update Linux. There are some parts missing.
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Is this bug still present?
Maybe I don't reproduce correctly, seems to work for me.
But for this kind of operation, I rather parametrize the *composition* (transition) for the logo
