Per Allan Sandfeld Jensen, would be nice for kdesrc-build documentation to improve regarding the configuration steps that should be taken outside of kdesrc-build to ensure that features like KScreen and polkit-qt-1 work properly.

This would apply to both the kdesrc-build Docbook documentation and the "Building from Source" wiki docs.

The differences might be different for those installing to a $HOME-based prefix (without sudo) and for those installing onto the system (/usr/local or otherwise).

Hi Komal. This issue still needs work, I would be quite happy to have your help.

We're currently using kdesrc-build as a testcase for a potential improvement to the KDE software development tools (powered by Gitlab). If you would like to take a look at a merge request I have a started at https://invent.kde.org/kde/kdesrc-build/merge_requests/1 that would be great.

You may need to already have a KDE Identity account, if you don't have one I can point you to https://cgit.kde.org/kdesrc-build.git/commit/?h=quickstart-doc&id=a7090fc7116831d0f8c04a05b9fe26d9d5c86c4f instead but that is harder to read through.
