Created attachment 111732 [details] traceback of ksmserver Application: ksmserver (0.4) <<< This version prevents reporting via drkonqi Qt Version: 5.9.4 Frameworks Version: 5.44.0 Operating System: Linux 4.12.14-lp150.7-default x86_64 Distribution: "openSUSE Leap 15.0 Beta" -- Information about the crash: - What I was doing when the application crashed: I upgraded Leap 42.3 to Leap 15.0 Beta without changing any user data. After that I tried to login into my account using plasma and I noticed a crash of ksmserver. I was unable to make a crash report. I installed wayland and did a login using wayland plasma. Again ksmserver crashed. However I got a more or less complete session and was able to install debuginfo packages and produce the bugreport. When i clear ~/.cache in the home folder of my account, by moving it aside, there is no crash, and I can use the session without a problem, both plasma and wayland plasma. Putting back the problematic ~/.cache, the problem reappears. So the crash can be reproduced every time.
