I encountered this yesterday in the investments tab. I then entered the stock name in the ledger editor and it prompted me to create it using the same dialog used in the investment tab and that worked so you should be able to use this method as a work around for now. Great, that workaround works also for me! However, the original problem persists. I am having this exact same issue. I am also having an issue with the workaround, see https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=328280. Error message: "Unable to create all objects for the investment" Details: "Stock account cannot be parent account caugt in /workspace/build/kmymoney/mymoney/mymoneyfile.cpp:1059" I'm sorry, I linked to the wrong bug in the previous post. The bug regarding the workaround is: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=395591 I encountered this same bug today on Kmm 5.0.1-1 on Arch Linux. I get "not able to create all objects the investment" in English when adding via the investments tab. Thanks to Danny Scott here for the workaround which also works for me. Bad bug which should get more priority. It was fixed somehow in the course with bug 394394 and is not reproducible on master anymore. So I close it as fixed here. *** Bug 401915 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 400866 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
