Description sblachmann 2018-03-29 04:24:28 UTC
Having used KDE4 up to recently, I notice that with KDE5 the search forward+backward buttons in the search line are missing.

Without these buttons, one is forced to use function keys.

Can these buttons please be re-added, like they were in KDE4?
Reason: The search line is more than long enough. spans whole screen.
Re-adding these buttons would add frequently used useful functionality without cluttering screen much.

Thank you.

Which version of KWrite are you using? These buttons should be right next to the search text entry.

kwrite 17.08.3
You are right. The buttons are there, but invisible (hover tooltips appearing indicate location, clicking works).
More research showed that KDE got installed incorrectly by debian installer.
Closed (downstream).
Thank you!
