I vote to make this more obvious and to also show the total amount of space. This has been implemented in the UI redesign in Plasma 5.20. |
Created attachment 111640 [details] screenshot 1 - Device Notifier When I connect an USB hard drive it would be nice if the Device Notifier applet would show the total size of the device. Currently, when I connect and mount the USB hard drive, it looks like this: screenshot 1: There is a bar indicating the "full" percentage but no absolute numbers. When I open the drive with Dolphin ("Open with File Manager"), it looks like this: screenshot 2. One can see free space but not the total size. WISH: Display the total size somewhere, preferably on the Device Notifier free/full space bar.
