I am using two monitors with the standard folder view showing the Desktop folder.

Ever since last time I updated the desktop icons are only appearing on the monitor which is detected first, with no icons appearing on the other monitor.

I can fix it by changing the location the one monitor shows to the explicit Desktop folder by setting the view to specific location -> Desktop, but that causes the icon names to always show the full name with extension instead of the application name.

The problem also appears if I set both monitors to show the same folder. I have tested this both under Wayland and X and the problem is identical under both.

5.13 will have a new option to control this.
