Xsession-errors tels us nothing, we need the backtrace of the crash. You should see a sad face icon in the system tray after plasma restarts |
Created attachment 111633 [details] Crash part of ~/.xsession-errors After typing some letters (for example always the 4 letters 'kwal') into the search bar of the start menu, plasmashell crashes. This is always reproducable. Sometimes plasmashell restarts, sometimes a whole reboot of linux is necessary. The part of ~/.xsession-errors added during the crash is attached.
