I suspect that this has to do with the version of Qt you're using. It doesn't crash with a more recent version of Qt. I also experience the segfault on exit on Arch Linux, since version 4.0. Also happened in the week before 4.0 release when I was running it from master (git). Everything else is working fine. System is up-to-date and no foreign (dropped from official repo) packages, my DE is KDE. Note that Qt version here is 5.10.1. As I am running it from the repos I cannot generate a proper stracktrace. Let me know if giving one will be helpful to finding the problem. I will compile it without stripping symbols then. It does seem that the python plugins are unavailable after downgrading, not a problem as I don't need those right now.
