Yesterday I installed kdenlive and it worked perfectly, and really OK. Today it keeps on crashing - working on exactly the same file as yesterday. I searched for solutions, but could not find any.

With crashing I mean it stops working, but stays in the GUI. After a short time it greays out. And hangs there for up to 10 minutes. So I have to kill it, and start afresh.

It particularly does this when deleting clips imported onto the timeline.

BTW - the entire video I am working on is less than a minute.

Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 18.12.0c

Run the Appimage from the terminal (press CTRL + ALT + T). Move to the AppImage folder and run the .AppImage: ./Kdenlive*.AppImage
