Description Zakhar 2018-03-19 07:02:41 UTC
This particular widget is of utmost useful to the power user enabling them to display an output from a shell command, the widget would then clear its text display and rerun command to display new text at a frequency depending on update interval set by user. The widget itself would have options for font, font size and update interval.
Comment 1 Zakhar 2018-03-19 07:05:03 UTC
Add to configurable options font style (bold, italic, underline, ect)
Comment 2 Zakhar 2018-03-19 07:05:23 UTC
Along with font color.
Comment 3 Zakhar 2018-03-19 07:06:30 UTC
Widget should automatically word wrap.
Comment 4 Zakhar 2018-03-19 07:07:01 UTC
Add configurable margin space from sides.
Comment 5 David Edmundson 2018-03-19 09:29:11 UTC
Thanks, but I'm not takign applet requests on the bug tracker.

Though I think I've seen something like this on store.kde.org already
Comment 6 Scott Harvey 2018-03-19 20:14:04 UTC
Look for a plasmoid called "Kargos". I believe it does exactly what you're requesting.
Comment 7 Zakhar 2018-03-19 20:29:00 UTC
Why isn't it provided with KDE?
Comment 8 David Edmundson 2018-03-19 20:51:30 UTC
Or "command output": https://store.kde.org/p/1166510/ was the one I was thinking of.

If you have any feature requests, ask those authors.

Will do I didn't even know there was a "store" for widgets. Glad I found it.
