This is the file that it specifically won't save

When trying to save an animated project file to .gif format an error window appears and tells me that the file is missing from app data. I don't know if it's my computer or Krita itself doing this.

Hi,

the file you attached is an empty backup file, there isn't much that we can do with that... Please attach the correct file, please attach a screenshot of the exact error, and please describe exactly the steps you are taking to reproduce this error.
