(In reply to mthw0 from comment #0) > How to reproduce: > > 1. Right-click on desktop > 2. Select last option "Folder view settings" > 3. Resize opened window > 4. Plasmashell freezes edit: step 2. should be : Select last option: "desktop settings" I dont use english as default language so the names can be a bit different. Bug cant be reproduced on clean install so it must be just my problem. Thanks for the update. Can we close this ticket? (In reply to Christoph Feck from comment #3) > Thanks for the update. Can we close this ticket? I still have this issue, maybe you can help me with it? New info: If I change my system language from Slovak to English, everything is fine again. Can you do the following: open a terminal reproduce the issue run sudo gdb --pid `pidof plasmashell` wait for it all to load then type "bt" and paste the output here. It feels like I must have done something wrong because there is nearly no output: https://pastebin.com/hzTDAtZh This issue is probably caused by my Language pack. So it is not caused by plasmashell. I am not sure if it is caused by the translation. I use Slovak language pack on my x86 PC and the but is reproducible, but not on my ARM bases Pinebook. I have made a video in which you may see something that will help you identify what is wrong. https://gfycat.com/FlowerySmartEgret Created attachment 113246 [details]

New info: Also happens on Wayland, but doesn't happen at all if there is also a second monitor connected. I can no longer reproduce this bug on Plasma 5.14.90 |
