Sometimes when a new window is opened, the system pauses for a second and then all window borders disappear. Apparently, `kwin_x11` receives a SIGSTOP.
I was able to attach GDB to the stopped process and managed to glean some info: https://pastebin.com/6sW43kyV
I haven't been using GDB a lot, so it may not have all necessary data. Let me know if there's anything else needed.
