With Discover's fancy new Kirigami-based toolbar, when you're on the App page and you click on the Install button, it's no longer replaced with with a progress bar and a cancel button the way the old button was. Instead, it just disappears during the installation.

Correct. We can't have a progressbar on the toolbar.

Maybe it's time to fix the progress part on the drawer.

We can't have custom components on the kirigami drawer.
We could put the progress bar within the page, that would work. Meanwhile the progress bar on the drawer kind of works.

Don't completely hide the install button when un/installing

Just disable it, it looks less like something went wrong.
