This bug on launchpad.net: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/plasma-workspace/+bug/1752973 As described in the message. On X they'll be using GLX, on wayland they'll use EGL. Yours clearly aren't working. |
Created attachment 111166 [details] plasma starting error message window Trying to log in into wayland-session in my Kubuntu 18.04 VM it fails showing me a black screen and a message window telling the following: "Plasma unable to start as it could not use OpenGL 2. Please check that your graphic drivers are set up correctly". X-session works well without any issues. Host: qemu: 2.11.1 libvirt-bin: 4.0 Kubuntu 17.10 Linux: 4.15.7 x64 Guest: Kubuntu 18.04 (development branch) plasma-workspace-wayland: 5.12.2 Linux 4.15.0-10-generic
