I'm not sure if this is a bug or actually a feature. The menu is still active in the Global menu area if I minimized the applications by clicking the minimizing button on the window title bar, while the menu will de-active if I minimize the application by click the icon/name through the icon-only task-manager/task manager.

If this is a feature, is is possible to disable it so that the menu in the Global menu bar disappeared after the application is minimized (no matter by clicking the button on title bar or through the task manager?

For applications like Konversation which will minimize to system tray. The menu will still be active even if the close button is clicked.

The menu actually is not functional after the application is minimized even if it is shown in Global menu area. So I think it's a bug rather than a feature.
