The file thumbnails on the default desktop view is blured see plasma desktop and dolphin file thumbnails

This was substantially improved in Bug 376848, but maybe not enough?

Hi, yes, I'm with you (@Nate).

Thanks for the improvement (done in https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=376848), but it really seems not to be enough.

Just put eg. a photo on the Desktop, put Dolphin (file manager) aside and compare both results. The thumbails in Dolphin look pretty (smooth and sharp). 

Instead, on the desktop (folder view), they look kind of blurred (and make me think that I need new glasses ;-) ).

It's pretty simple to fix this by making landscape images shorter, but harder if you want to preserve the behavior of landscape images being tall.
