Please add option to select puzzle image as main table bacground (for assistance) and add option for pieces to be distributed rotated randomly at start (plus option to rotate them while assembling the puzzle, of course).

Many thanks! Great game!

Thanks for the compliment!

These are both good ideas, but there is no longer anybody around to implement them, unless you yourself have coding experience. If you have and would like to give it a go, I can help you with advice on how the Palapeli code works, where to fit in your changes and how to provide end-user controls for them.

I was the last person to add features to Palapeli, but am retired from coding now.

I was also toying with an idea to lock/unlock a magnified view in the Preview window, so that you could move the mouse elsewhere and place a piece or two while still seeing the solution details for that part of the puzzle.

Hello,

thank YOU for the compliment, too. :)

I am developer myself and I went on to implement those requests; I was able
to insert "Puzzle Image" item into background selection combobox, but MOC
files are currently out of my scope and principles behind them. I used to
do some stuff in Qt, but I'd have to refresh my knowledge again.

What I'd like to know is: which IDE is used for Palapeli development?

I tried to import project into KDEvelop, but since it's CMAKE-d, I am not
(yet) able to build project from it. I am however able to debug it.

Kidn regards,
Marjan Mrak
