I have a logitech internet keyboard with a calculator launch button. If I add a Global Shortcut to launch kcalc and assign a global key or alternate, nothing happens when the keys are pressed.

Creating a "Custom Shortcut" and assigning a trigger and action works as expected.

This bug is no longer relevant. The current mechanisms have worked for me for a long time.
