install two internet browsers and add their icons to kicker favorites list
open system settings > applications
under "default applications" section, click "web browser"
click "in the following application" radio button, change your default web browser
apply the new setting and restart plasma session
open kicker and observe your favorite apps list
Your new default web browser has two icons in favorites list.

The default web browser favorite is magic and updates with the default browser - intentionally.

Ok, update the default web browser icon is correct.
But I think that the second icon should be removed. Two icons of the same app in the same place does no sense.

Humm, on my Arch and neon dev unstable I need to restart plasma.
