open "settings" menu > "edit current profile" > "appearance" tab
change "text size" to any value but 10, click "Apply" button
click "select font..." button
Change nothing and click "Ok" button
your font size was reseted to 10

What font are you using?  When you hit the Select Font button, what sizes are on the far right column?

My font is terminus (sizes 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 18, 21, 24). I noticed that the problem occurs when I set a font size in "text size" that is not available in "Select font...".
Cannot reproduce using noto mono or hack fonts.

I'm not sure what can be done since it appears to work w/ other fonts

This report is now irrelevant because "Text size" spinbox is no longer available in "Appearance" tab.
