Created attachment 110778 [details] ilustration hi, I love kdenlive, bit time _______________________________________ a suggestion: "extract zone" (aka extract selection zone) should be available from the timeline menu, too... not only because it's too many steps to #1 select the base clip (in which the zone-selection is made) in the project bin and then #2 right click and goo "extract zone"... BUT because the user might think like this: "what do I want to do? okay.. extract the zone... from the timeline... so, I'll goo.. where? aha.. timeline... yes... "save selection" is here... "add selection to library" is here, too.... what happened? why is "extract zone" not here?" I know that selection and a preview zone are two different things... also, sure, one might want to export part of a clip not necessarily from the timeline... BUT this can happen, too... for example when using slowmovideo thank you for this amazing video editing application
