This is especially relevant with the appimage and "appimaged" deamon installed(it's lil' deamon that lets the system remember where the appimage is hanging out).

Right now, I have all the krita appimages in the downloads folder and if I type in "krita" I get 10 or so duplicate entries. (With sometimes slightly different icons) Maybe we should add the version number to the description, or the title or something(maybe even only for the appimage version?)

Furthermore, the desktop file is still set to "X-Krita-Version=28" which I think should be 40 soon enough?

14:56:34 < boud> We got this report from someone who has appimaged and lots of different krita appimages: https://twitter.com/AdmiralTofu/status/965374714448351233 , https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=390624 . Is there a way to
show the version of krita inside the appimage somehow?
14:57:55 <@TheAssassin> boud: no, unfortunately, there is not, at the moment
14:57:55 <@TheAssassin> feel free to create an issue in AppImageKit requesting such a feature
14:57:55 <@TheAssassin> we could make it like "if there is an X-AppImageKit-Version=xxx entry in Desktop file, append it to the app name"
