Description slavko 2018-02-15 09:24:26 UTC
In KDE's display config i use display scaling factor 1.3, which works great for the interface and also for placing clips AND setting the clip start and endpoint.

BEHAVIOR
Clips can be clicked, their start and end point dragged, but clicking on the clip and dragging the clip around the timeline doesn't work. The actual handle is to the right of the clip, probably by the scaling factor amount.
(everything else takes this scaling factor into account)

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Clicking on clips selects them and you are able to drag them around the timeline

BUG DISCOVERED USING
Kdenlive 17.12.2
mlt-6.4.1-r6
Qt libs 5.9.4
Gentoo
KDE 5.12
Linux kernel 4.15.0
4k monitor, screen resolution 3840x2160

Currently i'm using QT_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTORS=1 kdenlive to mitigate the bug.

Also this MAY be related to the Qt library upgrade. But it's strange only clip dragging doesn't behave as expected.

I can confirm the bug on Arch GNU/Linux with Qt 5.10.1 and Kdenlive built from latest git

Can you reproduce this with latest appimage? This seems to be an upstream issue rather than Kdenlive if I'm not mistaken.
