Created attachment 110634 [details] how I would image a preview pop-up Would be nice if Dolphin could have the functionality to draw a large preview pop-up on top of a file when calling some keyboard shortcut or right-click action for it, similar to how previewing files with the space key in macOS works. Attached is an example picture of how I would imagine such functionality in action (I would personally prefer more of a smaller pop-up than in mac). While there currently is a 'Preview' mode, I think it's more convenient for some folders with many files to be able to preview only selected files on-the-fly.
