start wayland session
open kicker apps menu, drag and drop some icon in your favorites list
plasma takes ~5 seconds to complete the operation

No problem under X11.

Can reproduce delay upon dragging in Kickoff (App Launcher) not in Kicker (App Menu)

Cannot reproduce delay after moving entries. Noticed if moving entries to fast - they aren't moving and stay on their previous position

Sometimes favorites are also dragging with delay in Application Dashboard

Currently the delay is 2 or 3 seconds.

My favorites list has 16 apps, currently the delay is random and sometimes even greater than 5 seconds.
And the icon is not visible while dragged.
