Tagging VDG to state a resolution, though it's obviously not always possible to satisfy everyone's personal preferences when it comes to design Kai works on some of this stuff. I do agree that there is a lot of wasted space in that screenshot. Kai? What do you think? There was a new layout suggested to me [1] which I quite like I just haven't come round to implementing it yet. [1] http://wstaw.org/m/2016/07/22/media-player-t2.png ok, lets confirm it and someone can make it like that screenshot. Git commit d511a766779be67c4343d8cb6b0fcc35c53f6adf by Roman Gilg. Created attachment 110545 [details] A screenshot of the media player applet on Neon (1920x1080) The controls in the media player applet in the Plasma panel look unnecessarily large. The entire applet could be shrunk or more buttons could be added. The padding around the edges is too thin as well, making this UI look unprofessional. The lock screen media controls are much better - maybe these could be used?
