screenshot showing the problem

dead stones remain in their solid color, they should be shown as dead.

would also be great to be able to switch chinese counting versus japanese counting

thanks

Frederik, Luigi, you seem to be the ones that touched "recently" kigo, not sure if you're subscribed to its bug so adding you.

I've no idea about go so can't really help :D
Comment 2 Frederik Schwarzer 2018-02-10 13:05:37 UTC
I am not familiar with Go either, I was just preparing the kf5 branch.

@Mathieu: Can you please elaborate a bit on the "should be shown as dead" bit?
Maybe mark the stones in question in the screen shot? Also, was this working properly in earlier versions or is this a general observation that should be changed?

Thanks

new screenshot, showing current and "desired" ...

still relevant today, tested using Kubuntu 20.10

left is kigo unmodified, the black dead stone in the lower-right should be marked as dead at the scoring phase.

using Kolorpaint, I just made a white-X, but it could be a white dot.
