Can confirm this issue also on Termux (which is very unpleasant) Thanks for the report Jonathan. Can you elaborate a bit further on the steps to reproduce this issue. What software on the PC are you using to send keystrokes to the Android device? I'm setting status to "needsinfo" pending your response, please change back to "reported" or "resolved" when you respond, thanks. I am using the KDE System Tray widget (aka plasmoid): 1. Open Gmail on phone, compose new email, and set focus on main text field. 2. Switch Android keyboard to KDE Connect Remote Keyboard 3. Open PC system tray widget in KDE, set focus to "Remote Keyboard" line input. 4. Press Enter, Enter, Enter Expected Result: Cursor in Gmail app jumps down three lines Actual Result: No effect at all. I don't think I've used this feature since I reported this bug, but I just tested and confirmed the exact same behavior with android app version 1.15.1 and Gmail app 2020.10.18. Confirmed on KDE Neon Unstable. Can type and backspace even Ctrl + A works but cannot enter line breaks (enter key). Confirming this is still not working with FDroid version and latest desktop version. Fix would be highly appreciated as this prevents from using a remote keyboard on Termux, which would be super practical. I have just experienced the same. Using Termux on my Android and KDE Connect on my Ubuntu. I am able to type the commands, but "ENTER" is not sent to Termux. |
