Sorry, but I have no idea what a "WiFi share" is and how that has anything to do with the lock screen. Could you please elaborate in more detail. Hi, very sorry. Let me try to explain in more detail. - under network settings I have added a new access point ("WiFi (shared)") which I use to connect other devices to the internet. My main PC running OpenSuse 15 Beta with Plasma 5.11.95 itself is connected via ethernet. - I leave the PC like it is and after a while, when screenlock sets in I notice that my device cannot connect to the shared WiFi anymore. - When trying to wake up the monitor again of the desktop the screen stays black. Apparently something has happened during screenlock that disconnects my access point and then prevents the screen from waking up again. After that I switched back to X and I wasn't able to reproduce this behavior in X. The problem is that I have to hard reset the PC after this has happened because I've found no way to make it show a screen anymore. Even disconnecting HDMI won't help. LCD says that there is no signal. If you could give me a hint on where I could find relevant log file I would certainly provide these. Can you ssh into the system when it is in that funny state? If yes can you check whether the process kwin_wayland is still around? Thank you for reporting this issue in KDE software. As it has been a while since this issue was reported, can we please ask you to see if you can reproduce the issue with a recent software version? Like Plasma 5.25, or ideally 5.26? If you can reproduce the issue, please change the status to "CONFIRMED" when replying. Thank you! Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days.
