Sentry Crash Report:

Description David 2018-02-01 08:24:03 UTC
Opening Yakuake for the first time under Walyland works fine. It drops down from the top of the screen. However, when I close it and try to reopen it with F12, it opens more in the center of the screen. This happens every time: Quite Yakuake - start - opens fine - 2nd time - wrong spot.
Comment 1 Alexander Mentyu 2018-04-25 14:26:20 UTC
Cannot reproduce in:

yakuake 3.0.5-1
Plasma: 5.12.4
Apps: 18.04.0
Frameworks: 5.45.0
Qt: 5.10.1
Kernel: 4.14.36-1-MANJARO
OS: Netrunner Rolling
Video: Intel 4400
Driver: xf86-video-intel 1:2.99.917+823+gd9bf46e4-1
Screen: 1600x900
wayland-protocols 1.13-1
wayland 1.14.0-1

Maybe you have some non-default settings (Yakuake settings, Window Behavior > Advanced > Placement, Compositor settings) that could cause such behavior?
