Sentry Crash Report:

Description Ivan S 2018-01-26 16:52:25 UTC
Whenever I try to use the network applet to connect to a network, the network list disappears and it does not connect. Later it might say "no agents found for that request."
This is not a user config issue (happens accross users). It's also not in Network Manager issue as connecting via NMCLI works most of the time.
Comment 1 Ivan S 2018-01-26 18:53:17 UTC
Using NetworkManager 1.8.4. Occurs on both WPA2-PSK and WPA2-EAP routers
Comment 2 Ivan S 2018-01-26 18:53:48 UTC
WiFi driver is iwlwifi
Comment 3 David Edmundson 2018-01-26 20:11:52 UTC
Does it occur with nmcli?
Comment 4 Ivan S 2018-01-26 20:51:22 UTC
No, as I said, this issue does not occur when using NMCLI.
When I connect with NMCLI I am asked to enter the username and/or password to the network as normal, and it usually connects properly. If it fails, it does not give the same error as is given in the journal for NetworkManager when connecting using the plasma-nm applet.

Similar issues happen on a live version of KDE neon with the same hardware.
Comment 6 Ivan S 2018-01-29 23:16:13 UTC
No longer having this issue.
