Are you saying that when you right click and then move the mouse a tiny bit, the menu disappears? That's odd. Does this happen in any other apps, or just Dolphin? (Can't reproduce in 17.08 or git master) I just see the issue in Dolphin. Yes when I right click and the mouse moves the menu disappears. It happens when you right click and there is movement simultaneously. It only happens about 1 out of 10 times and almost never if I make sure I don't move the mouse before clicking. I discovered this when I was renaming a lot of files. I have not used 17.08 before, I have 17.04.3 OK, sounds like it might be a bug in your input drivers, maybe. Are you using Libinput to drive your mouse, or something else? Or put another way, what version of Kubuntu are you using? (17.10 uses libinput by default, 17.04 doesn't). I am using 17.10 with back-ports turned on. I use the defaults from how it comes from the ppa's, meaning not reconfiguring the system in any major way. How it loads is how I run it. Hmm, that's exactly my setup and I can't reproduce this. Rats, well I guess either leave the bug unconfirmed and see if anyone else has it or close it since you can't reproduce it. I could try reloading libinput to see if that would get rid of it. I'm gonna close it for now, but please feel free to re-open if you have any more information! Thanks! |
